::Professional Education::

October 2006 -- present    Professor. Nankai University

July 2006 -- October 2006  Research Associate. the University of Chicago

May 2000 -- April 2001   Postdoctoral fellow. Brandeis University

September 1995 -- July 2000   Ph.D. Institute of Biophysics, CAS

::Research Area::
My lab uses x-ray crystallography technique to study the structure and function of key proteins during biological events. I am particularly interesting in two areas: 1) calcium signaling pathway. Calcium is an universal second messenger and plays crucial role in many basic biological processes. 2) cell polarity. Cellular polarity is an important feature of organ development and function.
