    宋存江 中国共产党党员、工学博士、微生物学系教授、博士生导师、中国微生物学会理事、全国生物基材料及降解制品标准化委员会委员、中国塑协生物降解塑料专业委员会委员、中国微生物学会工业微生物专业委员会副主任委员,中国微生物学会资源/普通微生物专业委员会委员、天津市微生物学会理事长。1983年7月西北大学生物学系微生物学专业获理学学士;2002年3月日本富山大学(University of Toyama)生命和环境科学专业获工学博士学位。2002年5月在南开组建环境微生物与微生物制造研究室。先后承担国家973子课(2012CB725204)、863项目(2006AA02Z239,2007AA06Z323)、国家科技支撑课题(2015BAD16B04)、科技部平台课题(2005DKA21208-2)、国家自然科学基金(20374032、31170030、31070039、31470213、31670093)、天津支撑重点(05YFSZSF02200、09ZCKFSH00800)、天津自然科学重点基金(13JCZDJC27800、17JCZDJC32100)、天津市自然科学基金(023617811、06YFJMJC07400、11JCYBJC 09500)和多项横向科研项目。发表论文80余篇。10余项发明专利获得授权。2011年荣获天津市自然科学二等奖;2016年荣获天津市教学名师奖。
    研究方向:研究以微生物作为催化主体的高分子聚合物的微生物合成、降解和转化机理;采用分子微生物学技术构建高产或强降解基因工程菌株;采用合成生物学技术构建优势小基因组菌株等。开展天然/人工生态体系微生物多样性分析,未培养微生物以及复杂微生物体系功能实施的群体效应机制等。
    教学方面:主讲本科生国家精品资源共享课程“微生物发酵工程”和本科生必修课“生物技术概论”;硕士研究生选修课“合成生物学与代谢工程”;博士研究生选修课“分子分类和微生物进化”。
