DING Dan obtained his Bsc. in Chemistry (2005) and DPhil. (2010) in Polymer Chemistry and Physics from Nanjing University. After a postdoctoral training with Professor Bin Liu in the Department of Chemical & Biomolecular Engineering in National University of Singapore, he joined Nankai University in March 2013, where he is currently a professor in the College of Life Sciences.In 2014, he was selected in the 100 Young Academic Leaders Plan in Nankai University. In 2016, he was obtained the China National Science Fund for Excellent Young Scientists. His current research interest focuses on the design and preparation of nanomedicines and new molecular imaging probes as well as exploration of their biomedical applications. To date, he has published around 50 papers as the corresponding/first author in the journals such as Nat. Commun., JACS, Adv. Mater. and ACS Nano.
