ResumeXinglu Huang, Ph.D, is a professor of College of Life Science with joint appointment in State Key Laboratory of Medicinal Chemical Biology at Nankai University. Following his Ph.D degree received from Chinese Academy of Science in 2010, he moved to US and completed his postdoctoral training in National Institutes of Health (Advisor: Shawn Chen) and Johns Hopkins School of Medicine (Advisor: Justin Hanes), respectively. After that, he started his faculty at Nankai University in 2018. He has been elected as “Nankai Hundreds of Young Academic Leader”at Nankai University. His research interests are 1) tumor diagnose and therapy; 2) tissue engineering and regenerative medicine.
EducationWorkExperienceResearch FieldsHis research interests mainly include biomedicine, chemistry, materials and tissue engineering as below. (1) Biological effect of nanoparticles: interaction of nanoparticle and biological barriers; bioactive nanomaterials for active modulation of disease treatment; interaction of bioactive nanomaterials and tissue ischemia and its applications. (2) Tumor theranostics: design and development of nanoprobe and/or nanomedicine for tumor imaging and/or therapy. (3) Tissue engineering and regenerative medicine: bioactive nanomaterials for vascularization, damage and regeneration of ischemic tissues; nanosized stem cells for tissue regeneration. AchievementUntil now, he has published more than 40 research papers, with citation of >2800 and H-index of 28. Among them, his first/corresponding authored papers includes PNAS, Nature Protocols, J Am Chem Soc, ACS Nano, Angewandte Chemie, Biomaterials and Theranostics.
