ResumeDr. Li Minggang has been studied in HOKKAIDO and TOKYO University of Japan for five years and got a PhD degree in 1997. He is working in Department of Genetics and Cell Biology, College of Life Sciences, Nankai University as professor since 2000. He has been served on the dean of Genetics and Cell Biology department (2006-2009), vice director of institute for molecular biology (2001-2005),president of Tianjin Genetics Academy (2006-2015),director of the laboratory of biotech and New medication. There are three major research directions,Mechanism of diabetes and its new bio-medication, transgenic plant for dietary therapy of diabetes, Environment-friendly bio-energy sources,in his laboratory. He has the advisory title of graduate students for doctor’s degree and master’s degree in the college. He has published more than 100 scientific papers and three authoring books.
