Resume

Professor Hongru Zhang has long been dedicated to the study of the mechanisms of the immune regulation in TME and the development and application of CAR-T cell immunotherapies for cancer and autoimmune diseases. His research has been published in leading international journals, such as Nature Cancer, Cancer Immunology Research, Cell Metabolism, and Science Translational Medicine. His CAR-T research has been granted a U.S. patent. In 2019, he joined the American Association for Cancer Research (AACR) and became a member of the editorial boards of journals such as Molecular Therapy and Frontiers in Immunology. In 2023, he joined the School of Life Sciences at Nankai University as a professor.
