His research interests mainly include biomedicine, chemistry, materials and tissue engineering as below.
(1) Biological effect of nanoparticles: interaction of nanoparticle and biological barriers; bioactive nanomaterials for active modulation of disease treatment; interaction of bioactive nanomaterials and tissue ischemia and its applications.
(2) Tumor theranostics: design and development of nanoprobe and/or nanomedicine for tumor imaging and/or therapy.
(3) Tissue engineering and regenerative medicine: bioactive nanomaterials for vascularization, damage and regeneration of ischemic tissues; nanosized stem cells for tissue regeneration.
